Does teh job!
I had a metric tonne of music with non-UTF encoded tags in Chinese, Korean, and Japanese.
At first I tried to import my entire iTunes library… bad idea, as the program crashed around 1500 songs. I then tried again importing no more than 1000 songs at a time and had luck.
As other reviewers have mentioned, some of the guessing of encodings was wrong, but unlike other reviews, I only had this problem with about 5% of songs (mainly Korean songs where both a Korean and English name were included).
Anyway, once I was done, I went over to iTunes and did File->Add to Library->"Music/iTunes/iTunes Media" and everything was beautiful!
Wishlist:
* Handling more files without crashing!
* Ability to cmd-c, cmd-v in the app (I did a lot of right clicking to paste the correct encoding on errors).
* Ability to manually specify the encoding for multiple songs at once.
* Ability to specify what languages you expect encodings to be in (would probably cut down on errors).
* Cheaper (I think $1.99 would convince a lot more peeps to buy this).
